So, everyone has dropped out of this and there are only 4 of us doing this. If you ask me, that's pretty lame. So, since no one has paid me and no one has sent me their points, I am cancelling this.
I would, however, like to do this officially again. So, if we can get 10 people to commit to this, I will do it. If not, it's a no go. So, I am proposing this to start the first week in December. Let me know if you or a friend of yours is interested. Again, I will not do this unless I have a solid 10 people doing it. So, get your friends and lets do it!

It's almost time
We will not be starting the program this week, but will be starting next Monday. I have not gotten the final word from a few people, and we want as many people as possible. So far here are the participants (please correct me if I am wrong):

Who is in it to Win it?
We are starting a get fit challenge. The challenge will be based on time exercised 5 days a week and good nutrition 7 days a week. The program will last 8 weeks. Every week you must check in with me. Every participants results will be posted publicly on the blog weekly. This will help all participats with motivation and keeping on track. To participate there is a $10 fee. The winner of the program will win the entire pot. So, the more people that participate, the better the pay out. Please encourage your friends and family to participate, however this is not for those people that are already exercising and eating healthy. We don't want anyone to have an unfair advantage, so we are trying to keep all participants even. To win you have to have the most points at the end of the 8 weeks. Points are based on the following items:
Time excersied (with a maximum of 45 minutes per day, 5 days a week)
Fruits and vegetables eaten daily (with a maximum of 6 total a day, 7 days a week)
Drinking water (with a maximum of 8 8oz glasses a day, 7 days a week)
Sleep (with a minimum of 7.5 hours, 5 days a week)

I've had a few questions about the point system. Here is how it will work:
Exercise: you will recieve 5 points for every 15 minutes of exercise. That means in a week, if you work out the 5 possible days, you can earn 15 per day for a total of 75 in the week.
Fruits and Vegetables: for every fruit or vegetable serving eaten it is 1 point, you can get a maximum of 6 points in a day. That means in a week you can earn 42 points.
Water: For every 8oz of water drunk it is 1 point. That mean in a day you can earn 8 points and in a week you can earn 56 points.
Sleep: for every night you recieve more that 7.5 hours of sleep, it is 1 point, 5 days a week. That means in a week you can recieve 5 points total.
In a week you can get a maximum of 178
